Ablative antifouling coatings
Ablative antifouling coatings need smooth, uniform surfaces, which can be obtained using KETJENFLEX® 8. KETJENFLEX® 8 supports film formation and gives adhesion promotion on lower layers, provides oil, solvent and water resistance and is UV and thermally stable.

Nitrocellulose wood coatings
Formulate phthalate free, flexible and smooth wood coating systems using KETJENFLEX® plasticizers

• Cellulose acetate butyrates
Acid cure wood coatings
Cost effective woodcoatings can be formulated from aminoresins in combination with polyols catalysed by KETJENFLEX® CP.

• Melamine – alkyd + polyol
• Polyesterpolyol + Amino resin
