Is EXOCOAT™ CERAMIC+ Yacht an end product or a formulation component?
EXOCOAT™ CERAMIC+ Yacht is a formulated protective clear coating designed to be used directly on the substrate. It is not just a formulation component but a ready-to-use end product for marine applications.
On what materials can EXOCOAT™ CERAMIC+ Yacht be applied?
It adheres strongly to most non-porous surfaces, including metals (steel, stainless steel, aluminum), glass, ceramics, and common plastics (PC, PMMA, ABS). It can also be applied over painted or clear-coated surfaces, making it suitable for yachts with existing finishes. Proper cleaning is essential for best adhesion.
How is EXOCOAT™ CERAMIC+ Yacht applied?
- Detailing/Aftercare: Wipe-on with microfiber or lint-free cloth for thin films (~0.5–1 µm).
- Industrial/OEM: Spray application (HVLP or automated systems) for thicker films (~2–25 µm). Multiple thin coats can be applied wet-on-wet.
- Other: Brush or roll for small areas, though wiping or spraying is preferred for uniformity.

Yes, it is compliant with major regulations (REACH, RoHS, etc.), contains no SVHCs, and is free of heavy metals and isocyanates.
