What is EXOCOAT™ SH?
EXOCOAT™ SH is a superhydrophobic specialty coating designed to impart extreme water repellency to mineral surfaces. It creates a durable, invisible layer that significantly reduces water absorption and prevents staining, while maintaining breathability of the substrate.
What are the main benefits and features?

Is EXOCOAT™ SH an end product or a formulation component?
EXOCOAT™ SH shall be mixed with water before use. Mix in water: EXOCOAT™ SH:Water = 1:9.
On what substrates can EXOCOAT™ SH be applied?
Ideal for mineral-based surfaces such as concrete, stone, brick, and porous masonry. Also suitable for roof tiles and facades where water repellency is critical.
How is EXOCOAT™ SH applied?
Apply by low-pressure spray, brush, or roller on clean, dry surfaces. Ensure uniform coverage without pooling. For large areas, spray application is recommended for efficiency.
What is the drying and curing time?
Surface dry within 30–60 minutes at ambient conditions. Full water-repellent effect develops after 24 hours. Avoid rain exposure during initial curing period.
What is the shelf life and storage advice?
Shelf life: 12 months in unopened container. Store in a cool, dry place between 5–25°C, away from direct sunlight and sources of ignition.
Is EXOCOAT™ SH safe and compliant?
Compliant with major environmental regulations (REACH, RoHS). Free from heavy metals and hazardous substances. Refer to SDS for detailed safety information.
What packaging sizes are available?
Available in 5 kg cans, 25 kg drums, and 200 kg drums for industrial applications.
